Business enterprises that are running cloud-based virtual networks use the hybrid cloud to achieve a range of goals because of its extensibility and better business agility. Hybrid clouds provide its users the chance to seamlessly utilize the same tools and systems they’re familiar with between their on-site data centers and hybrid clouds without re-structuring their virtual environments.

Hybrid Cloud helps transform Enterprise Models

In fact, according to tech behemoth EMC Technologies, nine out of 10 survey respondents consider the hybrid cloud’s capabilities are “critical” to enterprises for their digital business initiatives.

EMC’s President of Products and Marketing, Jeremy Burton, remarked that the study found “that hybrid cloud – and the savings and agility it brings with it – is a key enabler to becoming a digital business.”

Backing up this claim, a recent North Bridge survey, the hybrid cloud’s business agility is taking over other factors such as scalability and accessibility.

Northbridge General Partner, Jim Moran, stated that “We're also seeing the emergence of the cloud as the only way businesses can truly get more out of their data including analysing and executing on it in real-time. This will be a huge opportunity, but as the survey showed because data rarely moves between clouds, companies must first learn how to interconnect disparate data sources into new applications."

Savvy business owners are now looking to blend their business initiatives with cloud-based technologies. The latest survey from North Bridge revealed high levels of corporate cloud adoption, both for content management, application development and code deployment functions.

Here are outcomes when the hybrid cloud facilitates the transformation of digital enterprise-scale initiatives for businesses:

Makes resilient infrastructure: The hybrid cloud ensures disaster recovery and business continuity with user-friendly, easy-to-maintain and resilient infrastructure combined with a leading-edge, on-demand platform for applications.

Creates higher business mobility: Moving to the hybrid cloud enables users to accelerate mobility to their business. Supported by a hybrid cloud infrastructure, it enables an increase in workforce productivity.

Manages traffic levels: A hybrid cloud can support heavy traffic levels during peak periods such as holiday season sales or other events that may cause increased usage.

Delivers automated application and infrastructure: Companies can quickly manage and deploy their IT workloads and services across hybrid infrastructures, even on private and public, in just minutes with agile and automated delivery.

Covers gaps from traditional technology: Eventually, businesses are taking back their traditional IT strategy and looking at technologies that can be delivered from the cloud to achieve high-value business results. Hybrid cloud models reduce the costs associated with full upgrades of outdated systems and prevent these system gaps.

Given with the right technology and cloud provider, business enterprises can benefit a lot with a hybrid cloud. Getting a cloud provider for support can be cost-effective in a way for businesses instead of having a redundant traditional IT infrastructure.
